Jian Arrow, a manufacturer of food processing equipment, is providing this newly established snack factory in Algeria with its SLT series twin-screw extruder production line for puffed snacks, enabling low-investment, stable, and highly efficient production.

Requirement: A puffed snack factory solution featuring low investment and reliable equipment.

In the first half of 2024, we received an inquiry from an Algerian online client expressing interest in the SLT snack production line (100–250 kg/h) featured on our puffed snack production line webpage.

Client Feedback: The client learned about Jian Arrow’s twin-screw extruders—specifically noting their consistent snack expansion capabilities—through a friend's recommendation. With a limited budget, they are looking to launch a snack production operation on a preliminary scale.

Key Requirements:

① Provision of raw material formulations for puffed snacks;

② Information regarding the service life of the industrial food extruders;

③ Availability of a variety of molds;

④Possibility of arranging for an engineer to visit the client's factory for equipment commissioning.

The Solution: Implementing a Fully Automated SLT Twin-Screw Extrusion Line

Snack production line:

--Raw Material Preparation:Taking into account the client's production volume and budget, the system is configured with a Model 60 powder mixer.

--The Core Extrusion System:SLT68D twin-screw extruder,Main motor power 22 kW; the barrel in the discharge section features a wear-resistant bimetallic lining, ensuring a longer service life; L-series patented gearbox (service life exceeding 36,000 hours).

--Equipment & Molds: The extruder features simple mold replacement and direct-cut extrusion.

--Drying & Flavoring: three-layer energy-efficient food dryer for moisture optimization and continuous double drum snack seasoning machine

--Packaging machine:Model 420 fully automatic packaging machine.

Project Outcomes: Snack production is stable, and output meets requirements.
